The Lamplighters is a team for those looking to get back into rugby or try it for the first time. We play a handful of fixtures a year, for fun, at mixed ability rugby.
What is mixed ability rugby:
- Non-contestant eight man scrums (no pushing)
- Players in bibs who are non-contact, so play touch rugby. They touch a player to make a tackle and are touched to be tackled
- Non playing coaches in different colour bibs who can follow new players and instruct them during play
- Normal full 15 a-side rules for everyone else
