About the team
Our Under 10’s girls (incorporating girls from Years 4(U9’s), 5 (U10’s). Meet at 6-7pm on a Thursday, for a fun training session of mainly touch/tag rugby, but also introducing some tackling.
The Girls U10’s team also meet on some Sundays to play at Rugby Festivals or an occasional game against similar development teams of the same age.
With the U10’s girls we are aiming to provide a pathway to contact rugby, and introductions to our mixed teams, should players want this.
We are also providing a space for the younger girls across the club to come together and be part of the bigger Girls set up, before they split to a Girls-only team at U12’s (Year 7).
Girls in this session are a friendly mixture of those who also play for one of our contact Mixed teams on a Sunday morning, and those new to Rugby who just want a fun non-contact session every week!
